Eating well at LynxHarbor
Our kitchen leans on what New Zealand does best: Waikato beef, Coromandel seafood, vegetables from growers we have worked with for years. Nothing on either menu is trying too hard.
Both restaurants are open to visitors as well as hotel guests. Booking is wise on weekends — call us on +64 9 486 0142 or send an enquiry.
The Wharfside Kitchen
Our dinner restaurant, open from 6:00 PM Tuesday to Saturday. A short à la carte menu that changes with the season, plus a five-course tasting menu for the whole table.
Breakfast is served here every morning from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM, and is included for hotel guests. Non-residents are welcome at NZ$34 per person.
The Beacon Lounge
Coffee from 7:00 AM, lunch from midday, cocktails until late. A shorter menu than The Wharfside Kitchen — sandwiches, small plates, a very good burger — served straight through the day, which matters when you have been walking the coast since breakfast.
Live piano on Friday evenings. The terrace faces west, so the seats fill up before sunset.

Dietary requirements
Tell us when you book. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free versions of the tasting menu are always available.
