LynxHarbor is a four-star hotel in Mission Bay, Auckland, with 118 rooms and suites, two restaurants, a spa and a quiet evening gaming lounge for guests aged 20 and over. Timeless design, natural materials, and a team that has been looking after guests here for 11 years.
Inside & out
Earth tones, natural materials and soft fabrics make the hotel a calm place to land. Full-height windows open onto the water and the coastline, and most rooms have a balcony — so the first thing you notice in the morning is the sea air.
Family time
The hotel is genuinely kid-friendly. Beyond the beach and the coastal path, there is a children’s pool, a supervised kids’ room during school holidays, and family suites with space for up to five. Under-12s stay free in their parents’ room.

Dining at the harbour
Two places to eat, both open to non-residents: The Wharfside Kitchen for dinner, and The Beacon Lounge for coffee, cocktails and a shorter à la carte menu through the day.
Our kitchen leans on New Zealand produce — Waikato beef, Coromandel seafood, vegetables from growers we have used for years. Breakfast is included with every room.
The essence of wellness
Our spa brings together saunas, quiet rooms, an indoor pool looking out to the water, and a fitness studio. Our therapists offer treatments and massages designed to leave you either thoroughly rested or ready for the day — your call. Spa access is included for hotel guests.

Three generations
Our grandparents opened a twelve-room guesthouse on this stretch of coast, and the family has run it ever since. The building has grown a great deal in 11 years under the current name, but the third generation shares the same idea of hospitality: look after the guest, and look after the place. The harbour, the beach and the coastline are the reason people come here — that thought guides every decision we make.

On the ground floor
The casino hall
Yes — there is one, and you are welcome to spend an evening there. It sits off the main lobby: a small, quiet room with gaming tables and electronic gaming machines, a bar of its own, and staff who are happy to explain any game to a first-time visitor.
It is one part of the hotel among several, and it keeps its own hours — evenings only. Entry is for guests aged 20 and over, and our team may ask for photo ID at the door. If you would rather spend the evening in the spa or at The Beacon Lounge instead, that is entirely the point of having both.
